Lakes Juniors will be offering Extended Season Teams (EXS) for 14, 15 and 16 year old girls.  These will be highly competitive teams made up of primarily our Regional team players but are open to new athletes from other clubs or girls that did not play the Regional season.   There will be a Head Coach and  Assistant Coach on each team.  We will have approximately 8 or 9 tournament dates (mainly two day, high level tournaments).  Tryouts (no charge) will be Wednesday March 20th, 5:30-7:30 pm at Faith Christian School Gym (link in the Lakes Calendar).  We will aim for 10 athletes on each team, maximum of 11.  

Update:  Practices will be scheduled for Monday and Wednesday evenings to avoid conflicting with school spring sports schedules as much as possible (a lot of school sports have games on Tue/Thu).  Practices will start April 1st  and will be 5:30-7:30 pm through April 10th.  Starting April 15th practices will be 6:30-8:30 pm at Lake Geneva Youth Camp Gym. 

Tentative Tournament Schedule

April 20-21:  Spring City AAU Grand Prix, Waukesha

April 27:  UW-Whitewater Open (14's and 15's)

April 28:  UW-Whitewater Open (16's) 

May 4-5:  MWP Penguin Fest, Waukesha

May 18-19:  Junior's Grand Slam, Milwaukee

June 1-2:   Junior's Summer Splash, Rockford 

The cost will be the same as the regular Regional season (-$100 if you are already on an LJV team and have a uniform).  It is a little shorter season but playing in the same number of tournament days and higher level (more expensive) tournaments.  $920.00 Includes all your club fees, gym rental, practice time, coaches pay, tournament entries and insurance.  You will be responsible for any travel or hotel expenses.  Your USAV membership will cover you for the EXS season and there is no tryout fee!  If you have not played this 2024 season you will need to get a USAV Membership.  

There will be an EXS Tryout Registration posted on the Tryout page soon so get registered and ready to play in some fun tournaments through June 2nd!

Also, keep in mind the LJV Beach League for MS & HS (entering 5th grade to graduating Seniors) girls pairs.  Tuesday nights at the Delavan Community Park (boat launch) starting June 4th running through August 6th plus the season ending Tournament Saturday August 10th.  Cost will be approximately $125 per athlete, $250 per team.  If you need a beach volleyball they are $50 and you keep the ball.
