The Winter Classic is the single biggest weekend event in Wisconsin with almost 420 teams traveling to compete. If you are a current 2025-2028 prospect seeking college exposure and want an opportunity to compete with top talent in the Midwest, then this event is something you don’t want to miss! This event will feature elite competition, positional training, and a chance to work directly with college coaches who will be running each court. This provides you an opportunity to meet coaches and the college coaches an opportunity to work directly with you during the evaluation process!

This year JUNIORS Volleyball Club will be collecting donations for Tree House child and Family Center. Please consider donating new or gently used birthday or baby shower gift bags, party streamers, birthday decorations, tissue and gift wrap, birthday candles, birthday or baby shower cards, and cake mix or frosting. All donations can be dropped off behind the admissions table.
Overview of the Birthday Support Donation Drive:
A child’s exposure to a traumatic event can have lifelong impacts. Fortunately, Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs) have been shown to build a child’s sense of belonging and connection, thereby providing a buffer from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma. Similar to Holiday Elves, the Tree House’s Birthday Support Program is a new initiative started in 2024 to help provide children who may have experienced maltreatment or trauma with a fun and memorable birthday. This referral-based program is open to children receiving services from the Children’s Wisconsin Child Advocacy Center (CAC) and Child & Family Counseling (CFC) in resident at the Tree House, children whose families are participating in Tree House prevention-based programs and services, and children referred to us from a fellow family-focused nonprofit or organization in the community.
How will your donations be used?
For families whose child is celebrating a birthday, the Tree House provides approximately $100 of in-kind support in the form of “wished-for” birthday gifts, birthday decorations, cake mix/frosting, and a gift card to Walmart or nearby grocery store so that the family may have a special birthday dinner and/or the child may have a small birthday gathering with friends. Families who are struggling also may reach out to the Tree House if their child is attending the birthday celebration of a friend, and we will select an age-appropriate and interest-appropriate gift for the child to bring to the party from our special toy closet, as well as the gift bag, tissue paper, and card if requested by the family.
